Racial Equity & Justice
Last updated: February 10, 2026
Narryo stands firmly against racism and is committed to advancing racial equity and justice in our company, products, and community.
Our Commitment
We believe that every child deserves to see themselves represented in the stories they hear and that every family deserves access to technology that respects and celebrates their identity. We are committed to dismantling systemic racism wherever we encounter it.
Product Equity
Voice Technology: We actively test and improve our voice cloning technology to ensure it works equally well for speakers of all racial and ethnic backgrounds, accents, and dialects.
Content Representation: We prioritize stories by and about people of color, ensuring our library reflects the full spectrum of human experience. We actively seek out Black, Indigenous, and POC authors and storytellers.
Cultural Authenticity: We work with cultural consultants to ensure stories are told authentically and respectfully, avoiding stereotypes and harmful tropes.
Workplace Equity
We are committed to building a diverse team and creating an inclusive workplace where employees of all racial backgrounds can thrive. This includes:
- Targeted recruitment of candidates from underrepresented racial groups
- Equitable compensation and promotion practices
- Ongoing anti-racism training for all employees
- Support for employee resource groups
Community Investment
We invest in organizations and initiatives that advance racial equity, including literacy programs in underserved communities and scholarships for students of color pursuing careers in technology.
Accountability
We publish annual reports on our progress toward racial equity goals and welcome feedback from our community on how we can do better.
Speak Up
If you experience or witness racism in any interaction with Narryo, please report it to [email protected]. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
